Effective Date: July 2026
Every ONVA timepiece is built to accompany years of everyday adventures. Before leaving our workshop, each watch undergoes an extensive inspection, regulation, and testing process to earn ONVA Certified status.
This guarantee reflects our confidence in the engineering and craftsmanship of every watch we produce.
This guarantee is provided in addition to any consumer rights that may apply under the laws of your country or region.
10-Year International Guarantee
Every new ONVA watch is covered by a 10-Year International Guarantee from the date of original delivery.
This guarantee applies to the original owner and covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
What We Cover
During the guarantee period, ONVA will repair or replace, at our discretion, components affected by manufacturing defects at no charge.
This includes defects relating to:
- Case and bracelet manufacturing
- Crown and case tube manufacturing
- Sapphire crystal manufacturing
- Ceramic bezel manufacturing
- Dial and hands
- Movement components
- Assembly performed by ONVA
- Water resistance when the operating conditions outlined below have been followed
All warranty work is performed by ONVA using genuine replacement parts.
ONVA Certified Precision
Every ONVA watch is dynamically regulated and certified to perform within –2 to +8 seconds per day before shipment.
Mechanical watches are precision instruments, and their daily rate naturally changes over time based on real-world conditions.
Performance may vary due to factors including:
- Wearing habits
- Wrist position
- Activity level
- Temperature
- Movement aging
- Lubricant settling
Because these factors differ from person to person, absolute daily performance while worn cannot be guaranteed.
However, if your watch falls outside the ONVA Certified specification under normal use, we’ll gladly inspect, regulate, and adjust it as part of your guarantee.
Magnetism & Impact
Mechanical watches can be affected by exposure to magnetic fields or physical shocks.
If you notice a significant change in timekeeping after exposure to magnets or impact, please contact ONVA.
We’ll inspect your watch and, where appropriate, provide complimentary regulation or demagnetization under this guarantee.
Water Resistance Guarantee
Your ONVA watch is guaranteed to meet its stated water-resistance rating when used correctly.
To maintain water resistance:
- The screw-down crown must always be fully screwed down and securely tightened before contact with water.
- The time or date should never be adjusted while the watch is underwater.
- The crown should never be unscrewed while the watch is wet.
- The watch must not be subjected to conditions beyond its stated water-resistance rating.
If these conditions have been followed and a manufacturing defect results in water intrusion, ONVA will repair the watch under this guarantee.
What Is Not Covered
This guarantee does not cover:
- Damage resulting from accidents, impacts, abuse, or misuse.
- Damage resulting from the crown having been left unscrewed or not fully secured prior to water exposure.
- Normal cosmetic wear, including scratches, dents, dings, or fading resulting from everyday use.
- Damage caused by unauthorized repair, modification, or disassembly.
- Damage resulting from improper handling or neglect.
- Loss or theft of the watch.
Mechanical wear of consumable components, such as gaskets and lubricants, is considered part of normal long-term maintenance and is not a manufacturing defect.
Complimentary Service
Should your watch require inspection, regulation, or warranty evaluation during the guarantee period, simply contact ONVA.
We’ll work with you to arrange shipment of your watch for evaluation.
If the issue is determined to be covered under this guarantee, ONVA will perform the necessary repairs and return the watch to you at no cost.
Service Outside of Guarantee
If inspection determines that your watch requires work not covered under this guarantee, ONVA will provide a detailed service estimate before any repair work begins.
No chargeable work will be performed without your approval.
If you choose not to proceed with the recommended service, we’ll discuss the available options with you before returning the watch.
Lifetime Serviceability
Every ONVA watch is designed with long-term ownership in mind.
From the earliest stages of development, our watches are engineered to be serviceable using replaceable components rather than disposable assemblies whenever practical. We believe a mechanical watch should be maintained—not replaced.
To support this philosophy, ONVA maintains an inventory of genuine spare parts for our products, including critical service components, to help ensure your watch can continue to be maintained well into the future.
As our collections grow, we remain committed to supporting the long-term serviceability of every ONVA timepiece through continued parts availability and professional service.
Because true sustainability isn’t just building something that lasts.
It’s building something that can continue to be cared for.
